Privacy Policy for Capora.

Capora is designed as a local-first Mac utility. The app does not upload your captures or recordings to Tepesoft during normal use.

Local-first by default

Capora captures, records, annotates, beautifies, previews, and exports locally on your Mac.

No launch cloud upload

Capora does not upload screenshots or recordings to Tepesoft as part of normal app use.

Support is voluntary

Tepesoft receives only the messages and attachments you submit through the feedback page.

App data

Capora does not collect app telemetry, screenshots, recordings, OCR output, annotations, file names, file paths, keyboard shortcuts, or recent capture history for Tepesoft during normal app use.

Local processing

Screenshot capture, screen recording, OCR, annotation, beautify rendering, video preview, trim/export, and recent capture management run locally on your Mac using Apple frameworks and local files.

Files and captures

Your screenshots and recordings stay in the destination you choose, such as the local Capora capture folder, Desktop, clipboard, or another folder. Tepesoft does not receive those files unless you attach them to feedback or support.

Feedback and support

When you use the feedback page, Tepesoft receives the name, email, message, app version, macOS version, feedback type, and attachments you choose to submit. We use this information to respond, debug issues, prioritize features, and improve the app.

Purchases

Mac App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Direct website purchases, when available, are handled by the checkout provider shown at purchase time. Tepesoft does not receive full payment card numbers.

Website analytics

The Tepesoft website may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand visits, downloads, and feedback flow quality. Website analytics are separate from Capora desktop app activity.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Support messages and attachments are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, debugging, product improvement, legal, or security purposes.

Your choices

You can avoid submitting support attachments, delete local captures, change the default capture location, clear app records, and request deletion of personal information you submitted to Tepesoft where applicable.
