What is Kondor File Manager?
Kondor is a native macOS dual-pane file manager and Finder replacement for faster browsing, copying, moving, searching, archive work, previews, and bulk file operations.
Which macOS versions are supported?
Current builds target macOS Sonoma 14 and newer. The app is tested as a native macOS app and the direct DMG is signed and notarized for Gatekeeper.
What is the difference between App Store and Direct Edition?
The App Store edition is sandboxed and uses Apple In-App Purchase for Pro. The Direct Edition from Tepesoft can include broader system, device, terminal, and helper workflows that are not appropriate for the App Store sandbox.
How do I send logs or screenshots?
Open the feedback form, choose Bug report, describe what happened, and attach a screenshot or short screen recording. Attachments are limited to 15 MB total.
Does Kondor replace Finder completely?
It can replace Finder for many power-user workflows: dual-pane navigation, copy/move/delete, archive browsing, folder sync, search, previews, and bulk operations. Finder remains useful for some system-level Apple workflows.
How do I get support for purchase or Pro access?
Use the feedback form and select Question. Include the store path you used, the app version, and the email you want us to reply to.
Troubleshooting
Fast checks before sending a report.
App will not open
Make sure you downloaded Kondor from tepesoft.com or the Mac App Store. For the direct DMG, use the signed and notarized release link on the product page.
Remote connection is slow
Some network resources wake slowly or throttle directory listings. Try refresh, reconnect, or test a small folder first before starting large transfers.
A file operation takes time
Use the progress dialog or Background Task Manager to watch copy, move, delete, archive, conversion, and remote operations.
A feature is missing in the App Store edition
Some advanced device, admin, terminal, or helper features are direct-edition only because Mac App Store apps are sandboxed.
